Supra Telecom TV Ads Emphasize Fresh Start
The Miami Herald Article by Beatrice Garcia

Supra Telecom, which emerged from bankruptcy earlier this year and found a new home in Broward County, is now going for a new look in its marketing and new products.

The new marketing campaign emphasizes the company's fresh start and recapitalized operations -- it was acquired out of bankruptcy by H.I.G. Capital, a Miami-based buyout firm, and Maitland-based FDN Communications.

The new TV ads -- featuring laughing kids piling out of school, a woman enjoying the freedom of the road on her motorcycle and a traveling executive -- attempt to capture the Miramar company's philosophy: good communications service and the freedom to call anywhere and anytime.

The TV ads will run in New York and Florida.

The company is also touting its bundled services, including local calling plans and long-distance service. Later this year, Supra will add high-speed Internet service to the package.
